The DS-1 Orbital Battle Station – affectionately referred to as the Death Star – was originally designed by the Geonosians before the Galactic Empire took over the project. The plans for the battle station were stolen by the Rebel Alliance from Scarif, (watch Rogue One – Its AMAZING!) leading to its destruction at the Battle of Yavin, by Luke Skywalker who was being persued by Darth Vader in a Tie Fighter. Before its glorious explosion, it unleashed its planet-destroying cannon on Alderaan (home of Princess Leia) and Jedha City (where the Jedi were prominent in the early days).
In 2019, my Twin gave me this Death Star teapot/cup combo, and I must admit, its been a decoration in my apartment until now. I brewed a chai tea using the recipe below:
2 tbsp cardamom
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp allspice
1/2 tbsp cloves
1/2 tbsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp black pepper
